My target reader is 18 and up to infinity.

There is nothing ‘not normal’ about a sci-fi novel. It is a story set in a different setting that is all. The ingredients are all the same – characters, plot, conflict, resolution and climax. Writing a novel is an enjoyable and immersive experience, whatever be the genre.

We think that we look after and nurture our children, often overlooking how in their own way they do the same. They help us grow and expand in ways we never would, but for them.

Dwelling on loneliness

In a sense, when I dwell on the issue of loneliness I feel it stems from our existence. In essence we come in this world alone, travel the journey of life also primarily with ourselves, and depart alone.

Climb Every Mountain…

It was a different spiritual journey. For those who can’t meditate the conventional way, give rigorous physical activity a chance. It requires focus and discipline that has a much needed calming and soothing effect.

Lodhi Garden – evening walks….

Last week, as I walked in Lodhi Garden with a full moon keeping me company in a winter evening, despite the Delhi air being of ‘poor’ quality, I tried to understand what about it is so enchanting.

Hitting Ground Zero

So as it turns out, dengue, both medically (potentially) and metaphorically, gave me a new lease of life. It helped me bury my failures and losses and let me resurrect afresh.

About enemies…..

Enemies are not always other people, often our enemy is our own thought process, our beliefs or lack of them or even ideas that are taking the outside environment by storm!

Its a s’he’ thing…..

I never took gender classes at university, in fact I have avoided them feeling that it may shape my world view in a certain way. Still I find myself constantly battling gender sensitivities and insensitivities in my interactions.
