Simba’s arrival in their life is another step in our journey of letting go. The children have taken a decision, and they have to navigate its outcomes along the way. Much like other things that is what it simply is.
In retrospect I find, being confined to a room for more than a month due to COVID19 made me realize and learn a lot of things.
If there is one thing I learnt during this sickness is that unless we become kind and compassionate towards one another, going forward, this period is going to become increasingly difficult to navigate.
There are myriad ways one misses a child, simply mind boggling and impossible to recount. The feeling runs deep inside – for me it defies expression.
We think that we look after and nurture our children, often overlooking how in their own way they do the same. They help us grow and expand in ways we never would, but for them.
