My father – the railwayman

The senior most officer of their railway was with them, on the ground, to oversee the work, at great peril to himself and his wife. And I feel a lump rise in my throat. It is not a feeling of grief, but a deep and abiding sense of pride that moistens my eyes.

A time to hope

Hope is a fragile emotion, but it is what gives us strength and courage as individuals and groups.

Is there something I can do?

If anything this wave has taught us, it is that our support net are other people – those you know or even don’t.

A time to reset…

As we deal with the aftermath of the pandemic and rebuild economies and lives it is an opportune moment to delve into alternate ways to grow and live. For individuals, communities, cities and nations this is a time for a reset and new beginnings.

Bye 2020 – at last!

In retrospect I find, being confined to a room for more than a month due to COVID19 made me realize and learn a lot of things.

The Day After

The Covid-19 virus will be conquered – either by medicine, time or nature. Then how will it change the world? That is the question that engages us the most now.
