If there is more than a century to go, before we finally ‘Break the Bias”, then every International Women’s Day we need to take stock of and find ways to address the challenges that emerge on the journey.
The year gone by has seen the gradual ascent of women in many fields, but the shadow of the pandemic looms large on the gains made in the past in the arena of gender equality.
The struggle for equality is far from over. It still resonates in the pristine surroundings in the USA and in the chaotic humdrum of India. We are all a part of it, and our legacies guide and lead us.
