An enjoyable review…

It is not easy to create a new world and terminology. One require to imagine the things and then wave it with possibilities and probabilities. The author did it quite well. The book remains true to its genre.

Glimpses from launch of Ascendance

What a fantastic book launch! Congratulations Sadhna Shanker. Terrific speech by the dynamic, articulate Kiren Rijuju. Future Prime Minister for sure! pic.twitter.com/bFkZLFo0oO — Shobhaa De (@DeShobhaa) May 19, 2018

Ascendance 2.0

In fact, we lived with them on Earth, and we came to Elone together. There must have been something that tied us together. I think that is also lost to us now; lost to both of us. We have never stopped to look for that bond, never questioned the roots of the animosity that plagues us today. But the knowledge that we shared an intertwined existence is still with us.

Ascendance 1.0

Imagine a world where men and women live as antagonistic species. How would they react when they learn about their shared past….

Its a s’he’ thing…..

I never took gender classes at university, in fact I have avoided them feeling that it may shape my world view in a certain way. Still I find myself  constantly battling gender sensitivities and insensitivities in my interactions.

CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION!

I wish to celebrate my life as it has been. It has given me much more than it has taken from me. I also wish to celebrate the coming years. I stand at a wonderful crossroad of my life.
