Bhopal – the magical city of lakes encircling small hills is clean and beautiful. The capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh, it lies in the center of the country. The Bhopal Festival was held from 10 to 12 Jan 2020.

In the sprawling aesthetic environs of Bharat Bhawan, with a sprawling lake as a backdrop, my session was titled “Science Fiction and future life”.

The co-panelists were both writers who wore the hats also of a doctor and a civil servant.

The audience was primarily young and interestingly enthusiastic and with a lot of questions about science fiction.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
